Mental health is a person’s condition regarding their emotions, and psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act throughout our daily lives.

People with anxiety disorders feel this intense, unrestrained, and persevered worry and constant fear about everyday situations. Oftentimes, individuals with anxiety disorder feel this intense fear that causes them to have panic attacks, which intervene with their everyday activities. 

  • Examples of different types of anxiety disorders are: 

    • Generalized anxiety disorder

    • Social anxiety disorder 

    • Specific phobias 

    • Separation anxiety disorder

Depression is a common yet serious mood disorder that causes severe symptoms affecting your daily living. Whether it is how you think, feel, and handle daily activities. 

  • Symptoms to look out for: 

    • Persistent sad, anxious, or “empty” mood

    • Feeling of hopelessness, or pessimism 

    • Feeling of irritability, frustration, or restlessness 

    • Feeling of guilt, worthlessness, or helplessness

    • Loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies or activities

    • Sucide attempts or thoughts of death or suicide
